Work Package Networks

Composition

A Work Package Network has been set up for each Work Package.  The Work Package Network comprises the Work Package Coordinator, a Work Package Lead from each partner university and one student representative appointed by the Circle U. Student Union.  In addition, the work package network meetings may include a communications officer from the university that has the lead of a given work package as an observer.  The work package leads have been appointed by the partners according to their expertise and the management skills required in the individual work packages.

Role and responsibilities

Work Package Networks gather academic and professional expertise to plan, coordinate, deliver and approve the activities, milestones and deliverables of the work package.  Working closely with the Secretary General, it is responsible for the quality and timely delivery of these.  For Work Packages involving Academic Chairs, this work will also be undertaken in close cooperation with the selected academics.  Work Package Networks set up task forces as needed to fulfill the activities and decide on matters related to students’ involvement in these activities. They are responsible for finding additional expertise on specific topics if needed.  Finally, they cooperate with other Work Package Networks on specific tasks that require alignment across Work Packages and liaise with the Circle U. communication team in order to communicate and disseminate information effectively on the actions of the Work Package.

Procedures and Meetings

Procedures and meetings are left to the Work Package Coordinator to decide upon those best suited to the needs of the work package.
