King’s College invites you to the digital event, via Teams, on Friday 21st January. The subject is “Tolerating Uncertainty”, and the talks will explore uncertainty in and across a variety of contexts, including the works of Shakespeare; intolerance of uncertainty (UNcertainty In COronavirus Research Network); models of uncertainty in cybersecurity; narrative vs. evidence - an extension of Walter Fisher's narrative paradigm to analyse epistemic controversies related to the Covid-19 pandemic; and the place and role of uncertainty in the training and education of (clinical) students today.
