The University of Belgrade new member of the Circle U. alliance

The Circle U. is proud to announce its latest member, the University of Belgrade.

Rector Ivanka Popovic (University of Belgrade) and rector Svein Stølen (University of Oslo). 

“We are very happy to have the University of Belgrade on board Circle U. UBs extensive offer of programs and degrees is impressive and we are excited to join forces in our creation of a joint European University Campus” says Rector Svein Stølen, who chairs Circle U. 

The University of Belgrade is the oldest university in Serbia, founded in 1808. Today, it is a research-intensive university, and one of the largest and globally best ranked universities in the South East Europe and Mediterranean region. It is a comprehensive university, comprised of 31 faculties and 11 research institutes, with an extensive offer of programs and degrees: 426 study programs covering all areas of engineering, natural sciences, medical sciences, social sciences and humanities.
