Academic Chairs to be launched

Applications have now closed for the Academic Chair programme and 38 Chairs have been appointed across the 7 Circle U. partners.

The Academic Chairs Programme will build strong academic links between the partner universities in the Circle U. alliance, in both education and research. Academic Chairs will provide strategic guidance and be key drivers in the activities of the Alliance, especially linking initiatives in the Knowledge Hubs on democracy, climate and global health; the open-school of governance, student-led innovation and entrepreneurship, and innovation in education. Chairs are expected to support the establishment of links between Circle U. students, staff and society.

An onboarding event will take place on Friday 17th September 15.00-17.00 (CEST), 14.00-16.00 (BST), with welcomes from Rector Svein Stølen, The University of Oslo, Kevin Guillaume, Secretary General of Circle U and Professor 'Funmi Olonisakin, Vice-President & Vice-Principal International, King’s College London.
