Several workshops allowed for discussion and exchange on curriculum planning, generative AI as well as research-orientated and inclusive teaching.
"I greatly enjoyed the 90 minute workshops that I attended alongside the TENet (Teacher Education Network) group meetings. Relevant themes, presented in a compact and engaging way by colleagues from different Circle U. universities. Highly recommended. Putting yourself in the student role once in a while can greatly refresh your teaching!," says CU.til member Christiane Dalton-Puffer (TENet – Teacher Education Network).
Lab work
In a second practice-orientated part, participants were able to jointly design new teaching projects in a co-creation lab or explore the promotion of entrepreneurial skills in the InCU.bator Coaching Lab.
"I took part in the Teaching Innovation Lab in order to intensify collaboration with other higher education teaching institutions. I was able to gain useful insights into the conditions for the success of events aimed at heterogeneous target groups across universities. I was impressed by the exciting city history of Louvain-la-Neuve: the city was founded together with the university in the 1960s - after upheavals between the language groups in Belgium and the secession from K.U.Leuven," says Sonja Buchberger, Academic Chair in CU.til.
The Circle U. Teaching Innovation Lab (CU.til) organised the event.
