How do we work?
The strategic vision for Circle U. is shaped collaboratively by the President of Circle U. and the Management Board. Through the Secretary General, the Circle U. Office supports the implementation of this common strategy. The alliance operates as a non-profit organisation, with a central office based in Brussels.
Circle U. 2030
In 2023, Circle U. received funding from the European Commission to cover Circle U. 2030, a four-year project under the Erasmus+ European Universities initiative. With a €12.8 million grant, Circle U. is scaling its joint activities to build a truly integrated European University by 2030. The project will expand learning opportunities for students and staff, strengthen research cooperation, and deepen collaboration across the alliance’s nine universities and global partners. Circle U. 2030 will make it easier to work, learn and innovate together across borders, creating a more connected, flexible and international academic environment.
