It examines key challenges such as conservation, renewable energy, human–wildlife interactions, and sustainable tourism, using European case studies to highlight interdisciplinary and community-based approaches.

This course explores the Anthropocene as a key concept for understanding the historical evolution of economic growth, environmental transformation, and sustainability. It combines online activities with an in-person intensive session at the University of Pisa, fostering exchange among students and faculty from different academic and national backgrounds.

The course explores the conservation and sustainable socio-ecological management of rural natural heritage, with a focus on agritourism as an example of natural and cultural heritage. The programme combines theoretical lectures with field experience in Tuscany (from September 28th to October 2nd), using agritourism as a living laboratory for resilient agro-ecosystems.

This thematic track within the INCLUDE Webinar Series focuses on inclusive pedagogies and learning environments in higher education. Running from 31 March to 15 May 2026, it examines how teaching practices and classroom dynamics can enable or marginalise learners, with particular attention to neurodiversity and intersectionality. The track consists of online webinars and concludes with a final in-person Summer School at the University of Pisa in July 2026.

This thematic track within the INCLUDE Webinar Series explores inclusion, equity, and diversity in higher education through the lens of innovation and entrepreneurship. It focuses on team dynamics, communication, and participation in innovation-driven environments, addressing issues such as inclusive business incubation, ethical knowledge transfer, neurodivergence, and workplace bullying.

In this intensive programme, participants learn by doing. You will form teams, generate and shape ideas using creativity techniques, validate customer problems and solutions through discovery work, build and iterate business models, and practice storytelling and fundraising. Each day builds toward a final Demo Day, where teams deliver an investor style pitch under realistic conditions. Along the way, the course strengthens skills that matter well beyond startups: structured decision making under uncertainty, collaboration under pressure, and clear communication of complex ideas.
