On day one, Anne Rasmussen from King’s College London delivered a talk on “The Gendered Effects of Incivility toward Politicians: Experimental Evidence from Politicians and Citizens”. While on day two, the audience were joined by Yves Steinebach from the University of Oslo and Julian Limberg from King’s College London, who spoke about “Public Policy, Administration, and Climate Action”.
The workshop also featured several DPE King’s faculty participation took, both in person (Christel Koop, Matia Vannoni, Julian Limberg, from King’s) or online (Tobias Bach from Oslo, Clément Fontan form UC Louvain, and Karin Pedersen from Aarhus), with experts offering valuable feedback on student papers and presentations.
In between the two days, a dinner event fostered connections and community among students and faculty.
Students were thrilled with the experience, expressing their desire for this workshop to become an annual event. They found it to be an excellent opportunity to meet peers from different universities, expand their network, and receive valuable feedback from experts outside their own supervision.
In essence, this workshop highlighted the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing in academia, leaving everyone eager for more.
