The Cross-InCUbation week is a unique opportunity for student entrepreneurs to meet like-minded people in a stimulating international environment. The programme is designed for those students (or teams of students) who have been working on their entrepreneurial idea and have already gone through initial training activities. Participants will get together for a development week embedded in the Viennese entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem.

During one intensive week, students from Circle U. universities will meet in Vienna, interact with each other, get advanced training and mentoring on their projects, and learn from external expert- and peer-feedback sessions.

This experience is a learning expedition through which students will develop intercultural acumen and entrepreneurial leadership skills. Participants will be evaluated at the end of the programme based on a video presentation on the last day (team evaluation) and a final report containing their journal of the experience (individual evaluation). Being listed as a course of the University of Vienna, students can claim the ECTS at their home universities (the final decision about including the ECTS in the student’s curriculum is up to the local study committees within faculties).

Students from universities outside of Vienna may be eligible for financial support through Erasmus mobility funds. Once accepted into the program, your home institution will provide further details.

Admission

A maximum of five participants per university will be admitted. The criteria for admission are:

  • Adequate stage of development of the entrepreneurial idea;
  • Societal impact and sustainability of the idea;
  • Motivation to participate.
