The talk presents a large‑scale study in which teachers of Norwegian, English and other languages identified shared goals and experimented with joint teaching sequences — including temporarily dissolving traditional class boundaries between languages. What new opportunities arise when language education is designed collaboratively? What organisational, pedagogical and professional challenges emerge? And how does this affect both learners and teachers?
Prof. Haukås’s presentation will be followed by a roundtable with BA, MA and PhD students, as well as practical examples shared by invited teachers.
