The colloquium presents three talks by experts who work on the future of language, writing, education, knowledge creation and technical infrastructures in the context of AI technologies. Furthermore, we host three sessions in which work-in-progress on these topics can be presented. These slots are particularly meant for MA and PhD students to present their ongoing work.

How can cities become more sustainable, resilient, and climate-neutral? Changing Cities, Changing Societies brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore how urban transformation can create meaningful and lasting change.

Circle U. is bringing together a delegation of students from across four of its partner universities to take part in the MUN Rome 2027 Conference and MUN Paris 2027 Conference, two of the largest United Nations simulations in Europe.

Follow the online teaching from Oslo in this hybrid course on three areas of EU business-related law and policy where the EU is working to integrate sustainability: business, finance, and the circular economy.

This interdisciplinary course repositions the ocean as a hydrocommons, a shared ecological, political, and social space shaped by lived realities, governance tensions, and climate precarity. It builds methodological foundations, includes fieldwork and experiments and culminates in a physical workshop in Berlin.

The INCLUDE Summer School offers an immersive learning experience combining knowledge acquisition and collaborative problem-solving around Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in higher education. The course will be hosted at the University of Pisa from the 6th to the 10th of July 2026. Participants in the INCLUDE webinar series have preferential access, but the Summer School is open to everyone.

The course explores the conservation and sustainable socio-ecological management of rural natural heritage, with a focus on agritourism as an example of natural and cultural heritage. The programme combines theoretical lectures with field experience in Tuscany (from September 28th to October 2nd), using agritourism as a living laboratory for resilient agro-ecosystems.

Science Matters: Scientific and Artistic Research is a cross-disciplinary course that brings together students from different levels into collaboration with international peers from the life sciences, social sciences, humanities, and arts.

This course explores the Anthropocene as a key concept for understanding the historical evolution of economic growth, environmental transformation, and sustainability. It combines online activities with an in-person intensive session at the University of Pisa, fostering exchange among students and faculty from different academic and national backgrounds.
