The course is organised by lecturers from the Life Sciences Department of the Science Faculty of the Université Paris Cité.

What’s the course about?

Lectures will address a wide range of fundamental questions linked to the cell cycle and cell division in physiological or pathological contexts. They will also present methods and approaches, particularly in genetics, single-cell genomics and cell biology.

What will be the schedule?

  • Course dates (online): 17th of October and 27 of October (two sessions of 2 hours)
  • Course dates (in Paris): 20th – 24th of October

What will be the learning outcomes?

  • Understanding of Cell Cycle and Division: Students will gain in-depth knowledge of how the cell cycle and cell division are regulated in both normal and cancerous cells.
  • Familiarity with Multidisciplinary Approaches: Students will be introduced to a variety of experimental models and methods used to study cell division, including genetic tools, single-cell genomics, and cell biology techniques.
  • Critical Analysis Skills: The workshop will help students evaluate and integrate diverse scientific approaches to address complex biological questions.

How can I apply?
