A typical MSc thesis under this scheme will pursue a research topic in AI as part of a study programme at one of the nodes, for example in computer engineering, computer science, data science, or informatics, with a primary supervisor at the "home" university. A co-supervisor from another Circle U. node will be appointed and will contribute to the thesis design and implementation. The partners will seek to facilitate an exchange visit of at least several weeks and up to a full semester.
The AI Knowledge Hub is preparing a database of candidate MSc projects and supervisors who would like to explore the possibility of cross-site collaboration through distributed MSc supervision. The list of available thesis projects will be published and continually updated on this page. Prospective co-supervisors and students will be invited to send expressions of interest starting in late summer 2025.
