ClimateConvos 2026: Student Perspectives on Climate Challenges and Action

Join ClimateConvos 2026, a three-day interdisciplinary event organised as part of ClimateConvos, a student-led project funded by Circle U. The event brings together students and academics from across the Circle U. Alliance to explore the societal, psychological, and legal dimensions of climate change through dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas.
The programme will feature lectures by academics from several Circle U. partner universities, alongside panel discussions and interactive sessions designed to encourage interdisciplinary discussion and student engagement. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts, exchange perspectives with peers, and explore different approaches to understanding and addressing climate-related challenges.
The event will take place 17-19 August 2026 at the University of Vienna (Main Building, Marietta-Blau-Saal). While the main programme will take place in person, selected highlights - including the panel discussion and selected lectures - will be streamed online, allowing participants to join remotely.
The event will be held in English. Participation is free of charge.
Registration is open until 16 August 2026. Registered participants will receive the final programme and online access details for the streamed sessions closer to the event.
