In the CUBES Circle research facility, units of plant, fish, and insect production are interconnected through material and energy flows. The advantage of such integrated systems lies in their high resource efficiency and sustainable production of healthy food.

Furthermore, holistic models are developed to enable dynamic adaptation of production to environmental conditions through smart regulatory measures.

We aim to reduce carbon emissions by minimizing waste within our production systems and utilizing by-products from the food industry.

In our webinar, we offer a virtual tour of the CUBES Circle research facility and provide insights into our applied research in the field of circular economy.
