Creating a Student-Led Female Founders Parliament
One of the missions of Circle U. is to empower female entrepreneurs, women in science and academia in general whether they are established members of the community or young students aspiring to become innovators.
Following two successful events in Oslo aimed at identifying key challenges and suitable solutions, Université Paris Cité will host and organise a 2-day retreat on March 21st and 22nd 2023.
The objective of the gathering is to establish student-led Female Founders' Network, declare their goals and values in a Circle U. Female Founders Manifesto and to define the action plan for the upcoming academic years.
Towards Female Empowerment
This event will focus on making the first concrete step towards involving students in female empowerment with the creation of a student-led committee, named Circle U. Female Founders' Parliament. It will serve as a trailblazer and catalyser for setting-up a network of student-led female founders' groups within the Alliance. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to the testimonies of inspiring female founders, women in academia who will share the challenges they have encountered as students and young innovators as well as share the solutions they have found to overcome them.
Making their Values & Objectives Known
Students and participating academics will wrap up the retreat by having the opportunity to create a Manifesto declaring their self-defined values and the objectives for the upcoming academic years. The manifesto strives to set in motion a network of young, empowered women ready to take up the challenges of innovation within the European space.
Would you like to have an impact on women's place in innovation and in society as a whole? Do you aspire to become an entrepreneur? Are you an established academic or female founder wanting to share your experience to empower the younger generations?
