Over five days of intensive in-person work, participants had the opportunity to examine, from multiple perspectives, the key challenges and opportunities arising from the rapid development of artificial intelligence and its impact on contemporary society. The programme included lectures, workshops, case studies, and hands-on group projects, with a particular focus on:

  • The technological foundations of AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic artificial intelligence;
  • The social, ethical, legal, and economic implications of applying emerging technologies in everyday life;
  • The complex interaction between humans and machines in decision-making processes.

Lectures and workshops were delivered by distinguished professors and researchers from Circle U. member universities. Alongside the host institution, the University of Belgrade, the programme featured lecturers and doctoral researchers from the University of Pisa, Université Paris Cité, the University of Oslo, the University of Vienna, Aarhus University, and UCLouvain.
