The EUA Board is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Association's policy and the planning of its activities.
Serving in this role together with Prof. Blondel are: Astrid Söderbergh Widding, Rector, Stockholm University (Sweden), Maurizio Tira, former Rector, University of Brescia (Italy), Wim van de Donk, Rector, Tilburg University (the Netherlands), Marcin Pałys, former Rector, University of Warsaw (Poland), Paul Boyle (Swansea University), Anne Lequy (Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences) and Ivanka Popović (University of Belgrade).
The Board is led by Prof. Josep M. Garrell, who was elected on the same day as EUA’s President-elect. Prof. Garrell served as Rector of Ramon Llull University, in Barcelona, from 2012 to 2022.
