Climate at Humboldt

Humboldt offers three courses: "Communicating Climate Science", "Reimagining Universities as Drivers of Sustainability" and "From Farm to Fork".

"We have received a large number of applications from candidates across the Circle U. universities and across disciplines, and I am looking forward to our summer schools as an activity that is seminal in building our common European university," says Prof. Dr. Marcel Robischon, Circle U. Climate Chair.

"I am very happy to say that more than a hundred students from Circle U. Universities have applied for participation in our summer school 'Reimagining Universities as Drivers of Sustainability'. I am very excited to exchange ideas on sustainability with a group of highly motivated students from different academic disciplines. This will be a great opportunity to share our thoughts and our expertise and to edge closer to the dream of a shared European campus," says Prof. Dr. Anne Enderwitz, Circle U. Chair, Think and Do Tank.

Global health in Paris

"Rethinking Global Health" in Paris is for PhDs and early-career researchers.

"We are pleased to have received so many qualified, diverse and international applications. We truly believe that the program we designed for PhD students and early-career researchers will be an unique opportunity for them to collectively reflect, interact and tackle current health field issues with their European peers while discovering Paris. We are very much looking forward to welcoming them in July," says Prof. Jean-Philippe Empana, Global Health Chair at Université Paris Cité.

Democracy in Oslo

The last Summer School is "Evidence & Democracy in Times of Crisis", in Oslo.

"We are thrilled to welcome students to Oslo in August. We received more than 150 applications, the competition has been strong, and we had to make difficult choices between many high-calibre candidates. The committee looks forward to meeting 31 students with intellectual energy, talent and motivation," says Trine Kleven, Coordinator in the Circle U. Democracy Hub.

This week, the three organizers are finalizing the process, and invitations will be sent out in June.
