On International Women’s Day, 8th March 2026, Circle U. celebrates the impact of women in innovation by highlighting the BeeLead - Women Founders Network.
As a student-led initiative across the Circle U. alliance, BeeLead is dedicated to bridging the gender gap in entrepreneurship by empowering women students and early-career researchers to move from initial ideas to real-world impact.
Empowering the Next Generation
The BeeLead - Women Founders Network is a transnational community built on the values of inclusivity, confidence, and entrepreneurial agency. Their mission is to foster a supportive ecosystem where diverse perspectives unite to inspire and equip young women with the skills needed to thrive as entrepreneurs in Europe.
Through mentoring, peer networks, and access to role models, the initiative provides concrete pathways for women to strengthen their leadership and positioning skills.
What to Expect in 2026: From Potential to Power
In 2026, BeeLead is moving from community building toward a structured journey designed to help participants transform their entrepreneurial potential into active leadership.
The 2026 activities will guide participants through a multi-phase experience. This starts with online inspiration sessions featuring European role models, followed by interactive skill-building workshops focused on developing a founder's mindset and leadership skills. The journey is expected to culminate in an immersive summer school experience, where teams will collaborate on projects in a hands-on environment. By focusing on both personal agency and collective action, the programme aims to create a lasting network of women ready to lead in the European innovation space.
A Vision for the Future
Beyond these upcoming activities, BeeLead aims for long-term sustainability. The future goals include follow-up sessions with mentors, the activation of an alumni community, and deeper integration into European incubator ecosystems. This is more than a one-off program; it is the construction of a sustained European community of women who lead together.
Make sure to follow us to stay updated for the concrete programme details soon. Recruitment for the 2026 cycle is expected to open at the end of March.
