The INCLUDE Webinar Series is a cross-disciplinary training programme focused on inclusion, accessibility, and equity in higher education. Running from March 31 to mid-June 2026, it brings together students and staff through online webinars and a final Summer School to explore inclusive education, equitable work environments, and diversity-related challenges.

The Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence webinar series brings together experts and participants from across disciplines to explore the latest developments, challenges, and societal impacts of AI. The first webinars will take place in spring and summer 2026.

Master students in Political Science, International Relations, European Studies, Area Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies across Circle U. universities are invited to attend this conference by Jannika Spannagel, Freie Universität Berlin and the Academic Freedom Index Project Team.

The workshop, to be held at the University of Pisa on April 28 and 29, explores the intersections between Medical Humanities, field philosophy, and contemporary practices of health communication. Bringing together both theoretical insights and applied perspectives, the event focuses on how humanities-based approaches can help address uncertainty, risk, and ethical complexity in healthcare. Through dialogue among scholars from diverse traditions, the workshop aims to foster shared reflections on how to rethink communication, decision-making, and care in today’s medical contexts.

The Circle U. Women Founders Network (WFN) believes in the transformative power of inclusivity and intercultural understanding. It foster open-mindedness and empathy within a vibrant, creative, and engaging community, where diverse perspectives unite to inspire and empower young women innovators.

In 2026, the Women Founders Network launches its "From Potential to Power" Spring Track: a three-phase progressive journey designed to take you from inspiration to action — and from potential to power.

Part of a Circle U. course on the topic, this conference led by Lars V. Johannsen, Aarhus University, is open to the entire Circle U. community. IN-ROOTS is a three-day retreat taking place on 14–16 May 2026 at the University of Pisa. It brings together doctoral students from Circle U. universities to reflect on the academic and emotional challenges of the PhD journey, particularly those faced by international researchers. Through conversations on intersectionality, the sharing of personal experiences, and community-building activities, participants will collaboratively develop a “glocal” support system designed to help international PhD students navigate both university structures and everyday life in Pisa.

Join us at the University of Vienna Library for a three-day staff week designed for librarians. During these days, you will learn key facts about the University of Vienna and how the University Library is embedded within the university. We will share insights into our organisation and current construction projects. In addition to guided tours, you’ll receive an overview of our most important research support services, including research data management and u:cris, as well as our open science and open access activities. The programme also includes opportunities to network and discover Vienna.

Join this Circle U. Open Conversation for a timely discussion on what actually works in development and public policy. Drawing on evidence of progress in health, education, and human well-being, speakers from political science, global health, and economics examine why some interventions succeed and how hope can be grounded in empirical evidence.

As part of the Planetary Health in European Medical Education (PHEMED) seed funding project, Circle U. invites academics to explore how to integrate Planetary Health into European medical curricula. From 15 to 18 September, a three-day seminar will be held in Paris on this topic.
