Discover what's new in the Circle U. Community

The Circle U. General Assembly convened on 21 November 2025 at the University of Vienna, concluding two days of events marking the alliance’s 5th anniversary. Following celebrations, public talks, and joint activities across the Vienna campus, rectors, presidents, student representatives and alliance staff gathered to take key decisions and reflect on the next phase of Circle U.’s development.

In the grand hall of the University of Vienna this November, as Circle U. celebrated its fifth anniversary, the alliance’s General Assembly reflected on how far we have come. Among our key achievements is the Open Campus initiative — a shared digital entry point to our joint course catalogue. This “one-stop shop” allows students and staff to easily access an ever-growing collection of programmes, courses, events, and resources developed collaboratively by academics across our nine partner universities.
