This year, UCLouvain students in the Projet STIC course worked with Circle U. on a very real challenge: how can a European university alliance become more tangible for the people it is meant to serve?

Circle U. students gathered at the University of Vienna for a summer school exploring how ecological and mixed-methods approaches explain language learning and classroom interaction.

From 2 to 3 July 2026, representatives from Circle U. took part in the European Universities Initiative: 2nd Research and Practice Symposium, hosted by WU Vienna University of Economics and Business in Vienna, Austria.

Master's student Adam from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin attended the Circle U. summer school "How to do European History? Current Approaches and Controversies" and recommends it to fellow students.

This June, UCLouvain hosted two Circle U. summer schools in the same week: one exploring plain language, AI and democracy in Saint-Louis, the other empowering women entrepreneurs in Louvain-la-Neuve. A look back at two intense weeks, through the eyes of the students and teachers who took part.
