40 students attended the summer school "Democracy and Development in a Fragmenting World: Geopolitics, Power Shifts, and the Fate of the Liberal Order" in Belgrade, and explored pressing questions about the future of the liberal international order.

Learning what makes a difference: Circle U. students explore effective development in Oslo

What does it actually take to improve lives and foster development? That was the central question at the heart of Learning Effective Approaches in Development (LEAD), a blended intensive programme hosted by the University of Oslo. Bringing together master’s students from across the Circle U. alliance, the course offered a week of rigorous academic engagement and collaborative learning focused on what works in international development, and why.
